How Alpine Can Help Learning Facilities in 2023

Learning environments can be just as important as the learning taking place in them. In fact, a facility that is outdated, deteriorating, or an eyesore is not only a distraction, but it can also be unsafe for the young populations learning within them.

From early childhood to college, ensuring students of all levels are educated in safe, up-to-date, and beautiful facilities will not only help them focus better, but it’ll also support their long-term education.

Here at Alpine, we offer a variety of services for learning environments including interior and exterior painting, waterproofing, power washing, flooring and so much more! Our contractors are skilled in using low-odor, environmentally friendly products, and materials and are experts at adhering to various school standards while completing our work in busy settings without disruption.

Here are just a few ways our team can help support your next learning facility project:

Early Childhood

Alpine is proud to be part of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s Child Care Facilities Improvement Program as a registered public works contractor.

This program offers grants to local childcare providers to aid with interior and exterior facility improvements to enhance learning environments for our child and youth populations.

Spread the word to your local child care centers licensed by the NJ Department of Children and families that they may now apply for help with project costs between $50,000 and $200,000.

College Campuses

College campuses play host to a variety of classrooms and subject types and the paint within each of them can impact the learning that takes place. For example, labs should have safely painted walls, and perhaps even leverage the use of microbial paint, to help facilitate proper experiments while lecture halls should be painted in muted tones to allow students to maintain a sharp focus.

The outside of schools is also an important piece of the puzzle. Most universities have study halls, dormitories, and offices, and having a uniform color scheme across the campus can invite prospective students in and play a role in building the institution’s brand.

Given a school or university has many classes, meetings, and events going on throughout the year, a skilled contractor that can work around the school, students, and schedule without disruption is vital.

Beyond the Classroom

Outside the classroom, our craftsmen are skilled in painting and updating facilities including cafeterias, libraries, and playgrounds. We offer painting and contracting services for university athletic stadiums, parking garages, and even retail stores.

For more than 40 years, Alpine has worked on school campuses throughout NJ, NY, CT, and PA, including institutions like Montclair State University, Rutgers University, and New York University. We pride ourselves on professionalism, quality, safety, and expertise and look forward to helping with your next project. Contact us today to get started!
