Why It's Important to Sandblast Your Equipment: Alpine's One Stop Paint Shop

Posted Nov 09, 2020 by Dave Scaturro

Our shop will prepare your heat exchangers with the highest safety and quality standards Why It's Important to Sandblast Your Equipment: Alpine's One Stop Paint Shop

At Alpine Painting, we truly believe that we’ll make you and your business look good and that philosophy extends to your equipment. After years of continual use, any gear is going to to deteriorate aesthetically; it’s inevitable.

But why let your investments rust away when all it takes is a quick fix? If it functions, then it should also look appealing to your customers. Our solution for chipped/faded paint or combating rust is easy: Bring your equipment to our Shop and let us restore it for you.

What Is the Shop and What, Exactly, Is Done There?

Adjacent to Alpine Painting's headquarters at 17 Florida Ave in Paterson, New Jersey, the Shop is our large, fully enclosed, blasting and painting facility, and we've been beautifying equipment like yours for over 30 years. There are two primary facets here: state of the art equipment and a team of well-trained employees in the blasting and painting industry.

Sandblasting is a vital aspect of making your equipment look new – it essentially creates a new, smooth surface, preparing it for the best possible paint job. Abrasive blasting strips away years of old paint and corrosion to provide your equipment with a blank, pristine canvas. We can offer multiple aggregate types, perfect for any project, whether you need us to aggressively strip the paint off heavy steel or lightly remove a coating from the most delicate surfaces.

After the blasting process is over, we move onto our final touches: painting. Because our firm utilizes two custom spray booths with proper ventilation, we can spray just about any coating on the market. Some of our paint products include alkyds, epoxies, and high-performance urethane systems.

What Equipment Does the Shop Service?

You name it; we’ve sprayed it. From small portable tanks to trucks and trailers, we’ve resurrected countless types of equipment and machinery. Some of the main pieces we restore include mason dump trucks, cellular communications equipment, truck chassis, plows and trailers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, structural steel, radiators, and even home patio furniture.

Alpine Painting’s ideal customers include architects, engineers, and construction equipment owners. When your equipment is being worked on, time and money are lost, so our primary goal is to get your items in and back to you quickly. If you are looking for an estimate on our services' cost, please email us pictures, call in with a description of what you're looking to have done, or better yet, bring it by so we can take a look at it on-site.

Our services don’t end there. The Shop goes beyond our headquarters to work on industrial projects as well. Alpine Painting and Sandblasting Contractors provides field abrasive blasting and painting services for our customers. The bigger, the better. We work on large, complex industrial structures such as water tanks, towers, and manufacturing facilities.

For a quick estimate today, call our Shop Project Manager, Gabe Baez at 973-279-3200 x21 or email us at Info@AlpinePainting.com. The Shop is open from 8am to 3:30pm from Monday to Friday, so take a quick visit. Give Alpine Painting the opportunity to make your equipment look its best.
