Alpine Makes Cover Page For National Painting Award

Posted Jun 22, 2011 by David Guy

Alpine Painting is honored to be recognized in the national publication, DECO, The Official Magazine of the PDCA. Besides winning our 4th consecutive National Safety Award, Alpine Painting was also recognized with two 2011 Picture it Painted Professionally (PIPP) Awards.

The First PIPP award recognized Alpine’s craftsmanship for our commercial exterior work for AMB Property Corporation. This job required the painting of 14 warehouses using a wide range of surface materials including brick, stucco, and cinder block. In total Alpine covered over 175,000 square feet in surface.

The Second PIPP award recognized Alpine’s excellence in the industrial category for our work on the American Water Short Hills Tank project. This mammoth 800,000 gallon water tank stands 35 feet high and has a diameter of over 63 feet. Alpine had to use five truck loads of crushed stone to stabilize a temporary foundation to erect elaborate scaffolding. After successfully draining and coating the tank the people of Short Hills were left with a vastly improved resource for their local community. Alpine’s diligent craftsmen and their relentless pursuit for perfection enabled us to win this prestigious honor.

We are truly humbled by this national recognition from DECO magazine.
