At Alpine we have over 35 years of abrasive sandblasting experience serving New Jersey. Our seasoned staff will help you determine the appropriate surface preparation or sandblasting methods to match your specific requirements. All of our industrial sandblasters have gone through a demanding training process and have received the proper certifications to handle a multitude of blasting projects. All of our employees are well versed in the sandblasting protocols to ensure that each media blasting and painting project is completed safely and successfully.
We use many different types of sandblasting abrasives and media including coal slag, copper slag, glass bead, crushed glass, steel, garnet, aluminum oxide, baking soda, and dry ice pellets. Our blasting experts know which fragments will work best on your surfaces. Some of the structures that we have blasted include bridges, water tanks, oil tanks, structural steel, ceiling decks, industrial equipment, and other rusted metals.
Having proper surface preparation is vital to the success of any paint job. Alpine performs both shop and field sandblasting. Inside our shop is a fully contained blasting barn enclosed sandblasting facility equipped with required safety mechanisms such as dust collectors, a steel floor, explosion proof lighting. Our ability to adhere to the safety protocols has earned Alpine the PDCA National Safety Award for the last three consecutive years while serving Northern NJ, Central NJ, and Southern NJ.
Alpine’s field sandblasting projects are also implemented under extensive safety protocols (OSHA safety standards) and regulations. We are licensed by the State of New Jersey to perform lead abatement in commercial buildings and on industrial superstructures.
