What's the Right Time to Start Your Exterior Painting Project?

What's the Right Time to Start Your Exterior Painting Project?

The start of the year should involve some thought on when to properly plan your commercial exterior painting projects.

You should plan to schedule your painting project at a time that best meets your business needs. If your schedule happens to be seasonal, picking a time that will provide minimal disruption is a recommended option. In other circumstances, the optimal time will depend on the nature of the project itself.

If your business requires interior painting work, it can be completed at any time. However, some paints and formulations will require keeping indoor temperatures within a set range so that paints and formulations can properly set and adhere to the surfaces. Exterior commercial painting projects depend on the weather. These projects are typically best to plan during warmer weather. Keep in mind that exterior painting work can sometimes be delayed by natural storms or other outside elements.

Insiders Tip: many commercial warehouses and/or other facilities coordinate painting projects during off-peak hours or national holidays when fewer employees are present. This has been a long time popular strategy used by many of our clients. Ultimately, it is important for your business to schedule your project as far in advance as possible in order to meet your business's demands.
