Paterson, NJ
The Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), announced that Paterson, New Jersey based Alpine Painting and Sandblasting Contractors, won two national awards, a Gold-level award for Safety in the Workplace and the Picture It Painted award in the Industrial Classification.
Worker safety is a major concern for all employers and is of special interest to members of the PDCA, whose workers are at greater risk for falls and exposure to toxic chemicals used in coatings and surface preparation.
“Alpine Painting has been a leader in on-site protocols for worker safety and jobsite protections,” says Benjamin Scaturro, President of Alpine. “We work with high profile corporations and sensitive industrial facilities that need assurances for every step in the process to be performed properly. Safety, the most important, is just one aspect of the assurances we need to provide.”
The second award presented to Alpine at the Paint and Coatings Expo in Los Angles this winter, featured the processes employed to prepare and paint a 200,000 sq/ft animal and food waste recycling facility in Newark, NJ, in 2007. This prestigious award captured the Industrial classification in the Picture It Painted competition.
Alpine was judged on its ability to creatively and successfully remove surface residue where chemical emulsifiers were used under strict compliance procedures. Throughout the project the facility was able to maintain full operation without delay or incident.
Alpine Painting and Sandblasting Contractors, Inc. has been providing procedure-driven painting and related services to industrial and commercial facility operators in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut for more than 30-years. Check out this award winning company at www.AlpinePainting.com
