Alpine Painting and Sandblasting Contractors is honored to win the 2011 Safety Achievement Award from the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA). The award was voted on by PDCA Forum members as well as other experts in the painting field. Alpine was one of three contractors in the nation to be honored with the safety award. At Alpine we pride ourselves on staying committed to maintaining a safe work environment for our employees, customers, and the community. When it comes to safety you can never be too careful. By using this mentality and perfecting our safety program we have become one of the leaders in safety across the painting industry.
The PDCA has also recognized Alpine Painting with the 2011 Picture it Painted Professionally (PIPP) award. This award recognizes overall project excellence and superior craftsmanship for our commercial exterior work. Alpine’s work on 14 warehouses for the AMB Property Corporation was completed using a wide range of surface materials including stucco, brick, aggregate panels, cinder block, and poured smooth concrete. The massive project also required the use of specific color schemes across over 175,000 square feet of surface.
Alpine also won the 2011 Picture it Painted Professionally (PIPP) award in the industrialcategory for our work on the American Water Short Hills Water Tank project. The 80,000 gallon water tank stands 35 feet high, 63 feet in diameter and sits over 50 feet above street level. Alpine used five truck loads of crushed stone to stabilize a temporary foundation to erect elaborate scaffolding. After successfully draining and coating the tank the people Short Hills were left with a vastly improved resource for their local community. Alpine’s diligent craftsmen and their relentless pursuit for perfection enabled us to win this prestigious honor.
