Alpine Values Employee Training in Our Shop

Alpine Values Employee Training in Our Shop

Here at Alpine, we highly value the skill sets of our employees. In fact, we recently had an in-house training day for two of Alpine’s shop employees, Mike Robertson and Bernard Santiago. In this training, Mike and Bernard learned all about spray equipment and how to operate it. They learned what a product data sheet is and the information it supplies, how to achieve a dry film thickness using a wet film thickness gauge, and learned all about spot readings.

Sam and Ben Scaturro, natives in the field and Alpine’s second-generation owners, were the facilitators and teachers behind the operation. With hands-on lessons, Alpine’s two shop employees, Mike and Bernard, were able to watch Sam and Ben operate the spray and spot reading equipment, then get in the booth and operate it themselves. At Alpine, we feel that hands-on, one-on-one learning is the best way to achieve the best results from our employees. We plan on continuing this type of training for years to come and watching our employees prosper in the painting field.
