Alpine Paints the Great Falls Historic District Sign of the Paterson Museum Building

Posted Jun 26, 2015 by Dave Scaturro

The key to properly painting a historic structure is capturing the essence and ambiance of when it was first built. To Alpine this means bringing the figure or building back to life, but with its original sparkle. With over 40 years of experience in Historic Restoration, Alpine understands just what kind of research and communication it takes tackling such a project. Just recently, Alpine was awarded the job of cleaning, preparing, priming and painting the exterior “Great Falls Historic District” wall sign of the Paterson Museum Building owned and preserved by the Paterson Historic Preservation Commission.

We were honored to be awarded the job and we hope the Historic Preservation Commission is as pleased as we are with how it turned out!

Thank you to all that made this project possible, including the Paterson Historic Preservation Commission (Kelly Ruffel & Gianfranco Archimede) Ken Simpson (Chariman of the Historic Preservation Commission and Supervisor of Passiac County) and Mohammed Ahmed for helping spearhead this project.
