Steve Scaturro is the Vice President and one of the founders of Alpine Painting & Sandblasting Contractors. While Steve was completing his Bachelors in Construction Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of technology, Steve and his brother Ben Scaturro opened the business together in 1975 as a part-time job, which then began the successful story of Alpine Painting & Sandblasting Contractors. As Vice President, Steve overlooks all the day-to-day operations of the business, and looks over all the company’s finances. He is involved in some of our industrial projects and has mostly worked with concrete and steel structures. Some projects he worked with include the Dingman’s Ferry Bridge and the Rockland County Sewer District No.1 Pipelines. Over the years, Steve has won countless awards like the 2013 ABC National Safety Excellence in Construction Award, the MAC PDCA East Coast Industrial Award from 2011, and the NJ Dept. of Labor & Workforce Dev. Safety Award in 2012. Because of his extensive experience, Steve is the person to answer any technical questions or problems. While running Alpine, Steve uses his spare time by riding his Harley, and going boating or jet skiing on Greenwood Lake. Steve’s competence to create and run this successful company with his brother for 40 years, makes us all proud to be part of this family-owned business.
