The New Jersey State Industrial Safety Committee awarded Alpine Painting with a safety award for the third consecutive year since 2011. This year’s award was the Commissioner of Labor & Workforce Development Award for achievement in the prevention of occupational injuries during the 2013 calendar year. Alpine was recognized on May 8, 2014 at the Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards area dinner held at The Bethwood in Totowa, NJ. This year’s award program celebrated their 86th anniversary of promoting a safer and healthier workplace.
The Commissioner of Labor & Workforce Development Award is granted to a privately or publicly-owned company that has encountered no work-related lost time from injury or illness over the course of one year. Alpine is a firm-believer in creating a safe work environment for our employees and we manage to do this by evaluating our safety program day in and day out, on every job. We do not only inspect our safety on a daily basis, but Alpine performs yearly reviews, comparing our safety methods with OSHA and SSPC safety standards and analyzing and critiquing areas of weakness within our system. We pride ourselves on our safety program and couldn’t be more fortunate to be recognized for such an honorable award.
