Feeding Paterson Families for Thanksgiving

 Community Outreach

At Alpine Painting & Sandblasting Contractors, we are committed to giving back to our community. As a family-owned business, we acknowledge the importance of sharing warmth and kindness to not only our own family, but the families of our community. This is why every year we partner with Community Outreach Services to collect money and canned goods for families on Thanksgiving.

Hinchliffe Stadium

 Community Outreach

Built in the early 1930s, Hinchliffe Stadium is a 10,000 seat “City” Stadium which is best known for hosting the Negro Baseball League. After 15 years of being coated with graffiti, the city of Paterson recently decided to restore the stadium. With 15 professional crew men from Alpine and more than 800 volunteers, we were able to repaint the stadium and bring the structure back to life. The project took place on Wednesday, April 16 2014. Katie’s House

 Community Outreach

Alpine Painting & Sandblasting Contractors is also a proud supporter of the non-profit organization, Katie’s House. Katie’s House provides supportive housing, activities, and services for people with developmental disabilities. In the year 2013, Andrew Scaturro, our Shop Services Manager, was presented with the “Unsung Hero Award” for his involvement with painting and renovating a Newton, NJ based house for two developmentally challenged men. With the help of the North Jersey PDCA and the Sherwin Williams Paint Company, Andrew coordinated painting the interior and exterior of the home to make it a comfortable living environment for these two young men starting a more independent life living on their own.
