Safety

Safety Harness, Fall Protection, Safety Trained Painters and Sandblasting in New Jersey and New York, Alpine Painting and Sandblasting ContractorsAt Alpine Painting, safety is not just a word the sales department uses to close a job.  Safety is a belief and process that is evaluated every day, on each job, to prevent injuries or death to our valued workforce.  It’s instilled in the minds of our workers because we don’t have to think about it, it’s just what we do every day.  Alpine uses a systematic approach to each project to make sure every precaution is taken to eliminate hazards and reduce the chance of injury.  It’s a good feeling when, we receive our employee’s bi-annual reviews and they consistently thank Alpine for caring about their wellbeing on the job.  For that reason and many more, Alpine continues to receive Awards for Excellence in Safety.

Quality

Top quality work and project management is why our customers return to Alpine time and time again. Alpine is a PDCA Accredited Contractor who employs a highly trained project management staff of NACE and SSPC Coatings inspectors as well as an SSPC Protective Coatings Specialist. This means that we stay on the cutting edge of coatings technology and can not only specify the best coating systems for a Quality Assurance and safety Training, Alpine Painting & Sandblasting, Commercial Painters NJ, Project Management for our Industrial Painting Crewsproject, but also see problems before they occur. We use quality control reporting forms to reduce errors, but should a problem occur, the cause of and solution to the problem will be quickly apparent.

We are very proud of our newest, National Quality Award, “Picture it Painted Professionally” from the PDCA. Alpine was named one of two outstanding contractors for completing a complex industrial project. The work was performed at Darling International, in Newark NJ. We recoated 20 oil tanks and 4 buildings in less than 3 months, with a surface preparation and coating system that should provide a service life with twice the longevity of their previous coatings applications.

Training

Safety Training for our field and shop painting teams, confined space training, fall protection training, hazard communication, respiratory training in Paterson, NJ Safety and Technical training is the lifeblood of Alpine Painting.  We have created a top notch safety and technical training program that transforms inexperienced workers to skilled craftsmen.  This begins with new employees gaining both classroom and hands on training while closely supervised in our shop.  They are taught safety, quality control, equipment repair and customer service.  They eventually graduate to the field, not before an additional 2 days of classroom safety training.  All our field employees have a minimum of OSHA 10hr training, with specialty experience in many areas.  Our training is done in house through our OSHA outreach trainer who is trained to teach both OSHA 10 and 30 hr courses.  We continually cultivate our employees and are very proud to have an average employee retention rate of well over 5 to 10 years.  Our foremen are trained to handle the most complex and technical project with ease with their 10 plus years with Alpine.

Training doesn’t stop with our own employees.  We are proud to offer free training to our subcontractor’s foremen and employees as well.  They are required by Alpine to take safety & customer service training at least 8 hours per year.

Please review our video training program as one example of the multitude of safety training sources available to the workforce of Alpine Painting.
